Dress Code

Guests are recommended to dress smart casual. Smart casual is a dress code that is typically comprised of well-fitting, neat and appropriate pieces that are slightly less formal than a business casual.

Children

Our intimate dining space is not recommended for children under the age of seven.

BYOB

Feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine or liquor to enjoy during your meal. Only bottled water served.

Please remember, we’re not at the shore, please do not bring coolers into our intimate dining room.

Located in Mt. Airy Philadelphia, La Trattoria is an inventive blend of traditional and modern Italian Cuisine brought to you by Chef/Owner Bledar Istrefi.

We opened La Trattoria in Mt. Airy in the summer of 2014 in an effort to follow the great Italian tradition of hospitality and quality at the table. At La Trattoria you will find your favorite dishes as you have eaten them in others trattorias throughout Italy.

We use the best local ingredients as simply as possible and serve them in a combination of northern and southern Italian cuisine. Chef/ Owner Bledar is proud to make his own cured meats, home-made pasta, bread and desserts.

True to the Italian culture, the warm and knowledgeable staff will make you feel right at home and graciously guide you through the amazing food selections. We love that we are here and live to celebrate both our location and our creative dishes. We would like to mention that in our trattoria we display art work from different artists.

  • A great spot if you’re looking for a cozy dinner with great value and real Italian cooking. I’ll definitely come back. $39 for three courses. BYOB. The place is small and intimate, which makes the experience feel very personal. The service is warm and friendly, and they even bring limoncello at the end, which is a nice touch. The food is made with fresh ingredients. The homemade pasta was excellent. Simple, authentic, and flavorful.

  • Food was excellent! We had a party of ten and were seated outside. Service was fantastic. For appetizers we had calamari, artichoke stuffed with crabmeat special and eggplant rollatini - highly recommend those! For dinner I had the linguini with scallops and shrimp. The seafood was cooked perfectly and the pasta The duck leg dinner was delicious and well cooked. We will be back! One more thing the desserts were light and delicious not overly sweet. A superb dining experience.

  • It was the curb appeal of this adorable trattoria that led me to look into coming here. Then the unsolicited rave review from a stranger at a nearby bar clinched it for me and we decided to try it. Very glad we did because it was a wonderful meal topped off with homemade limoncello and light creamy tiramisu. Will be back for sure.
